Unemployed, self employed, retired?

March 14, 2009

So, when I saw the intake form listing “employment status” for the first time with 3 boxes  clicked, I experienced quite a revelation. In today’s economy one can easily fit in the following 3 categories: Unemployed, Self Employed and Retired, Previously retired (at least I did retire, or thought that was a retirement party) Self employed because I’ve always had myown business.  And unfortunately unemployed at the moment, because I’ve been so busy caring for mother that I  could no longer see her clients.

Since she’s had so many different employment options, once she determines a new focus on her product, service and idea mix she will be able to begin marketing herself to a new audience. With that, comes the inspiration and commitment to move forward she has been seeking.
